Hi,

I have been very lucky to get 3170 for about 7.5 euros! Now I would like to make it Annex A with English interface. So far I have found an version of Annex A with German web interface at:

I am unsure of Speed2Fritz - how exactly does it works - what will it keep from first firmware selected or from the second one. As this box does not have VoIP, I cant mess around with it since I don't have an option to do factory reset via phone.

So, can anyone of more experienced members convert this image to English speaking one?

I have tried fritz-trunk with those options but I get following error:

Any idea how to resolve this?

I have tried again with freetz-trunk, but now instead of 7170 firmware I used directly 3170 [it did not have option to chose Annex, but I thought lets see will it at least change to English], but at the end I got very same error that kernel image size was too large.

I flashed router with firmware I found from Polish website. By its new web interface I can say that it is made from 7170.
