fritz box 7170 downgrade firmware

è qualche giorno che ho comperato questo fritzbox arrivato con firmware inglese 58.04.82
gia felice possessore del Fritz 7050 ho voluto prendere un modello più versatile.
Problema :
mi connetto con rete wireless di Eolo. ho fatto tutta l'impostazione ,il modem si allinea ,mi da connessione effettuata,ma non riesco ad andare in internet ,neppure col wireless.
cavo dall'antenna in Lan 1 cavo al pc o switch Lan2 ,ricorda che ho avuto lo stesso problema col 7050 ,ovviato abilitando
il "PPPoE Passthrough",ma in questa versione non è presente,dovrei quindi downgraudare alla versione precedente e gia che ci sono in Italiano,scaricata la versione .(04.78_Ita_by_Massinge_e_Annex_b1.01.image),
ho preferito effettuare l'aggiornamento tramita interfaccia Web,ma il fritz mi dice che non trova il file adatto per il mio modello o non è originale e si riavvia .
Provato allora con la versione originale da AVM (FRITZ.Box_Fon_WLAN_7170.AnnexA.58.04.59.image)
stessa storia.
Quindi ,sbaglio io qualche passaggio ?Devo abilitare qualche funzione nascosta ?

Se il tuo fritz è originale annex A devi installargli un firmware che cominci per 58.04.xx. Per poter effettuare il downgrade correttamente devi aver prima abilitato la password di interfaccia del fritz. E' una protezione AVM per i firmware non originali.

Impostando la password ,sono riuscito a caricare il firmware "04.78_Ita_by_Massinge_e_Annex_b1.01.image" ma non è cambiata di molto,
pur abilitando il "PPPoE Passthrough" il router si connette ,ma il pc collegato sulla Lan 2 o Lan3
non accedono ad internet ,nella pagina principale il router è segnato come connesso ,pure nei log è dato connesso ,
ma non va in internet
Connesso tramite Eolo collegato sulla Lan1,con le stesse impostazioni con il 7050 navigo perfettamente ,
non una disconnessione ...........

I might have few suggestions here.

Ok, lets first see if the sharing function of router is working properly:

1. setup 7170 IP to 192.168.178.2, expert settings enabled
2. connect to internet with 7050
3. use lan cable from 7050 to LAN1 port of 7170
4. in web interface of 7170 go to | Advanced Settings -> Internet -> Account Information and select following:
- Internet conncetion via LAN1
- Establish own Internet connection (NAT router with PPPoE or IP)
- No account information required (IP)
- Configure the IP address manually
IP: 192.168.178.2
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.178.1
DNS1: 8.8.8.8
DNS2: 8.8.4.4

Apply these settings and now try does yours computers have internet connection when connected to LAN2 or LAN3 ports on 7170.

Ok, if this works than router sharing is working properly, so problem is in DSL filter.

So first lets see what was router Annex by factory settings.

Look at bottom side of yours box for exact model number, than find it in following table:

If the original was Annex A, than you are unlucky and if it was Annex B than changing the filter capacitor on the board might do a trick.

I was reading Google translation again and I am unsure is yours connection ADSL or you are trying to connect to internet via LAN1 port.

If you are trying to connect via LAN1 port than I need to know more about yours ISP.

Is it MikroTik based infrastructure?
When you connect yours PC directly to ISP via LAN card and go to Google, do you get page where it says to enter yours username and password?

If so, than you can use following settings that will work 100%

Advanced Settings -> Internet -> Account Information and select following:
- Internet conncetion via LAN1
- Establish own Internet connection (NAT router with PPPoE or IP)
- No account information required (IP)
- Obtain the IP address automatically (DHCP)
- Enter DHCP of yours ISP

Ok, now open browser from an PC connected to box via LAN2, 3, 4 or via WiFi. Now here you must enter address of yours ISP login page manually!

[[Normally when connected directly from ISP to PC network card, first time you open browser login page would appear as soon as you enter any url in browser, but when connected to box it will just open error page about no internet connection, but if you enter it manually [from bookmarks] it will work.]]

So now when you enter proper information you should get working internet connection on all other computers as well without need to enter ISP login page again.

Second thing is if there is no login page, but you only can establish connection via PPPoE. In this case you may try settings from above after which you manually setup connection from one PC to ISP PPPoE. This will also work - other computers in Fritz network would not need to do same as long as there's one computer manually connected.

Third thought is that yours ISP has locked yours MAC address to yours PPPoE account. So, you might want to try to clone 7050 box MAC address and settings and try again.
