I use the FB7113 as an ATA connected via the LAN port to an existing network which is via an WAG200G connected to a DSL.
The FBs DSL port is for test purposes connected by the AVM-provided TEL/ISDN split cable to an analog phone line of an internal PSTN system (Telnet mini).

This setup has been used for test purposes on many applications over years, it proved very well with a Zxyel P-2002L ATA.

The configuration of the FB7113 is factory reset, just FON1 configured as analog landline - the same on all FW versions tested.

You must configure one stun server like stun.voiparea.net or stun.xten.com in the fritz !Box Voip phone setting.
Or open the rights ports in the router.

One reason for such dual mode ATA (VoIP / landline) is to safely have landline access even with the network/DSL/Internet being completely out of order.

In order to make calls over the analog port the FB needs power only, regardless of the network status. Therefore, the network ist not at all involved in this analog port connection.

To prevent a possible misunterstanding let me try to explain things in a little different way:
- the FB7113 is factory reset, the FON1 is configiured to landline over analog
connection
- no network cable at all is attached to the FB
- the DSL/TEL prot is connected to the landline PSTN by the AVM-provided Y-split cable

- now, picking up the handset attached to FON1 and dialing an analog number puts the
call through to that other phone as intended and causes it to ring as should be;
picking up that other ringing phone makes me hear the inbound audio (coming in to
FON1) but the outbound audio (from FON1 to outside line) can not be heard on the
outside phone - this is the only error !!!


- contrary, dialing in to FON1 from an outside landline phone and picking up the ringing
handset attached to FON1 I can talk bi-directional (full duplex) as it regularly has to be.


Meanwhile I took testing a step further to verifying internal calls between FON1 and FON2 of the FB 7113 which works fine - no network, no audio problems.

Therefore, beyond any doubt the problem exist only on audio-out of outgoing landline calls.

Ok, i've understand your problem: only with landline no bidirectional outgoing calls.
I can't test this mode because I haven't landline connected to my Fritz!Box. Someone can help nuts-bolts in this test?
