Hi, Ihave been trying to convert thsi SP to FB with ENG language and Annex A. With speed-to-fritz I was able to convert the box to DE Annex A with use of German 7270v1 image. As there is no official 7270v1 English firmware for modification to Eng, I used modified bi-lingual fw DE-ENG and DE-ITA but after flashing I got FritzBox web interface with missing menus and some empty pages. So I created Freetz custom 7270v1 EN image that was about 9.6MB and used it for modification as well, but I got missing menus again.

Does anyone have a clue how to solve this one?

Thanks for yours interest to aid me! I already tried that one with results of missing menus. I spoke to Lonegunman about this matter and he had similar problems with wireless and ITA translation on some FB project he conducted. He gave an nice explanation on the matter of translation in our wiki, and also gave me some clues about what to look for, so I will make the whole translation by myself using this method.

In gratitude to you guys, I will make ITA version as well. All 4 firmwares - En, Ita, Annex A and B as well as explanation of procedure and the sources used I will post back here when I finish. I am thinking to add traffic shaping as well, but I will see about it.

To view the missing menus you must insert the htmltext_de.db into the firmware, if it is missing some menus are not displayed.
The German db contain references menu.

Recuperato con un file .exe per il recupero inviatomi dal tedesco che me lo ha venduto ora monta fw annex a tutto in tedesco.
Con difficoltà sono riuscito a configurarlo.si riesce ad avere l'interfaccia almeno in inglese o sarebbe il massimo in ITA ?

Che interfaccia ha? Quella simile al fritz box?
Mandamelo, vedo di aggiungerci la lingua ita , ok?

Ho provato anche qualche fw della stessa versione eng o ITA ma si blocca il caricamento

il firmware, il recovery non mi serve.

Provali entrambi e fa sapere. Senza lo speedport a portata di mano è difficile fare firmware sicuramente funzionanti, spero lo capirai.

grazie ancora per l'aiuto ora sto ancora cercando di risolvere un problemino con la rete e appena fatto proverò i fw.

a proposito poi posso riporistinare la configurazione attuale?
ci ho messo 2 giorni a configurarlo in tedesco ma ci sono riuscito e non vorrei perdere il tutto oppure non è "indicato"su nuovo fw ?


p.s. i collegamenti che mi spiegavi nel post sparito perfetti e fatti in due minuti (trovato tra i vari filtri che avevo quello con 3 femmine rj11 e sta tutto dentro il supporto da muro del router)

Chiaramente puoi salvarti la configurazione attuale, nel menu system dovresti trovare dove poterlo fare, però ora non ricordo in tedesco quale voce sia quella giusta, cercala e imposta una password prima di salvare.

Poi fai gli aggiornamenti sperando vada tutto ok.
